Scott Associates Racing was established 10 years ago by Leonard and Kathy Scott. At that time, the team consisted of Lens' beautiful orange Porsche 1967 911S (a matching number car from the Porsche factory). This car had been previously owned by the President of EMPI Products. The car was prepared by EMPI for some speed test for Road & Track Magazine where Bob Bondurant drove the car in some 1/4 mile races. Bob loved the car so much he did not want to get out of it. He even fell in love with the color and has since painted all his school cars the same color orange.

Late in 1998 Len and Mark Purchased the 2nd Vintage race car. A 1967 911 from the East Coast. the car needed much work to get it on the track. So father and son took the project to the garage where for 7 months they pretty much rebuilt the entire car. It was a labor of love that saw many long nights. The car was debuted in 1999 and ran flawlessly the entire season allowing Mark to capture his first of many class championships.
